Concept: Many modern homeowners are either intrigued by Peranakan culture or find nostalgia as it carries a distinct allure that brings back childhood memories. For this residential home, we combined traditional Peranakan elements with a modern flair to create a stunning home that stands out from the rest.

Cultural elements, such as flower motif tiles, are incorporated throughout the home interior. The well-curated use of ornate details such as the hanging lights with contrasting colours in the dining and kitchen space gives it a bold and modern touch. In the bathrooms, one uses vintage-style patterned Peranakan tiles while the other uses turquoise. The designs provide a fresh twist to bathroom decor as the combination of styles capture the essence of the past and future. The bedroom showcases the smart execution of hidden storage solutions with accent lighting to make the room more spacious.
